Le Parti populaire de Tchécoslovaquie (en polonais: Stronnictwo Ludowe w Republice Czechosłowackiej) a été créé en 1922, il représentait essentiellement les Polonais protestants de Silésie tchécoslovaque.
Le 27 octobre 1923, il conclut un accord électoral avec l'Union des catholiques (polonais) de Silésie.
Pour les premières élections parlementaires tchécoslovaques organisées dans la région de Silésie de Cieszyn en 1925, une coalition électorale fut formée entre plusieurs partis et organisations politiques polonais et silésiens, soit le Parti populaire, l'Union des catholiques (polonais) de Silésie, le Parti des travailleurs socialistes polonais de Tchécoslovaquie et le Parti populaire silésien (Śląska Partia Ludowa), avec pour slogan "La Silésie aux Silésiens".
